Hello,

I have integrated apache and mod_smbauth.
I surf to the website, a popup appears. I enter my local AD
username/passwd. I get access to the website. Great, it works.

I have integrated apache and mod_ntlm. I enter my username/passwd and
any PDC at which I have an account into the popup. I get access.
Great, it works.

My question.
I arrive at work. I login my laptop into the AD. I surf to the
website. I don't get a popup(!), but the webserver checks my system
against the AD and I get access to the website without entering my
username/password a second time.

This scenario, is it possible???

I am aware that I'm lacking knowledge about the exact mechanics of
windows domain autorisation. If anybody has good documents about this
subject, I'm interested.

Thanks,

Peter Kassies
