ifTable extension

Hi everyone,

is it possible to append interfaces to ifTable without modifying the standard code?
I mean, can there be another module also registered on ifTable OID, that adds some interfaces to the common ones?

I don't think so, no.
You'ld almost certainly have to tweak the routines in 'data_access',
in order to load the information about your extra interfaces.

Robert's the person who knows most about this mechanism.
You could try asking him on the IRC channel (which is where
he normally hangs out).
