Hi,
I am trying to compile net-snmp-5.4.1 as well as 5.4.2 version of =
netsnmp on a Linux box with X86_64 i.e 64 bit architecture .
When I compile the code there I get quite a few warning like :
ucd-snmp/pass.c:184: warning: comparison is always false due to limited =
range of data type
disman/event/mteObjects.c:50: warning: passing argument 2 of =
=91mteObjects_addOID=92 discards qualifiers from pointer target type
and so on..
Is it OK to use this code with these warnings?
Can somebody let me know the impact of these warning if I integrate this =
code with my application???
My application was runnning fine on 32 bit EL5 Redhat. I need to decide =
whether these warnings are ok or do I need to go back and fix them ??
Rgrds,
Ashish
