We are currently adopting net-snmp 5.0.9 in our platform. I was trying
to figure out the MIBs and their corresponding RFC's which this
version of netsnmp supports. Can you please verify if I'm wrong.

I also have a Gigabit Ethernet card and I was wondering if the IF-MIB
implementation really based on the latest RFC recommendation (2863),
the
MIB present in the mibs suggests that but the implementation does not
provide support for objects in mandatory groups, which are basically
part of ifXTable etc.

The MIBS and their corresponding RFC's based after looking at the
netsnmp 5.0.9 mibs directory are

Are there any open source implemenation of interface mib (based on RFC
2863) that will work on Linux (Redhat).

Any pointers to latest MIB implemenations for the linux platforms will
be appreicated.
