Greetings to all !

Anybody can help me about how to monitor CPU LOAD with SNMP ?
I'm trying use this OID hrProcessorLoad (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2) at
host-resoure-mib. i'm using NET-SNMP over Linux.

jose@armadeira:~$ snmpwalk -v2c -c public aracne 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad = No Such Instance currently exists
at this OID

or
jose@armadeira:~$ snmpwalk -v2c -c public aracne hrProcessorLoad
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad = No Such Instance currently exists
at this OID

thanks in advance

Which version of the Net-SNMP agent are you using?

You might like to try looking at UCD-SNMP-MIB::systemStats

Depending on the version of the agent you are using, you may
need to explicitly configure in support for the Host Resources MIB.

Can you see anything in hrSystem?

Ah. That looks like Access Control.
I suspect that you're using vendor-supplied default access control
settings, which typically only allow access to the system group.

See the FAQ entry about access control for more details.

That shows that your agent *does* include the HostResources MIB.

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure that the 5.2.x agent doesn't
support hrProcessorLoad. Fix your access control views, and
use the systemStats group.
