Are you sure their agent supports v2c? Have you tried v1 only?
Try adding a -d to your command line. This will print packet dumps for sent and
received packets. Do you see a received packet, or only a sent packet?

I don't know of any issues. If you have a packet sniffer, you could compare
the actual packets sent to the agent from each application, to compare and
contrast.
