You are putting the createUser statements in this file and they are disappearing, with no user being added? Are you:
- adding the createaUser statement when the agent is down?
- adding access control for the user in the other (static) snmpd.conf?
- checking the usmUserTable for a row for the user?
Please post net-snmp version and OS.
