Folks,
I want to be able to "package up" the NetSNMP agent and my MIB for =
installation in a Linux environment. What executables, conf files, MIB =
files, etc are necessary for installing the NetSNMP Agent in a =
production type environment? =20
Has anyone created an easy cookbook way of packaging up NetSNMP for a =
Linux production environment? I don't want the entire build, =
development environment....just enough install the agent and my MIBS.
Thanks!
Robert P Rose

See dist/net-snmp.spec in CVS MAIN on how we split up Net-SNMP into several RPM
packages for distribution (for RedHat/Fedora, mostly). See dist/Makefile on how
we use make to even avoid having to remember any rpmbuild arguments. :-)
