[MRTG] HELP! rateup died from Signal 127

I'm running a RedHat 5.1 Linux-server with mrtg 2.5.3.
And I get the following error rather often:
"
PROBLEM: rateup died from Signal 127
with Exit Value 16777215 when doing router '134.169.2.158.5'
If this happens all the time,
you should probably investigate the cause. :-)
"
What can I do? Is this a glibc-Problem?
Pleaze help!
