Hello,
i´m planing to build a webside like this
http://wolfram.scripps.edu/network.
The problem i´m on is how to handle this thing after rebooting an
router.
You know, the interfaces become new indexes and so mrtg would log/paint
in the
wrong file/graph.

Can you please give me a hint ? How did you handle this prob ?

Thanks

Daniel

We have our router database setup in postgress. Every 5 minutes a script
gets the default gateway from each router and generates a new MRTG config
file. This way only it has the correct numbers each time it runs. The only
problem we're having with this is that our Ascend TNTs are reporting the
wrong interface number for the default route.
