Server is done priming.

hi there,

i have set up a DNS server recently and when i perform a ndc status on the
dns server i got this error
message as below :

number of zones allocated: 64
debug level: 0
xfers running: 0
xfers deferred: 0
soa queries in progress: 0
query logging is OFF
server is DONE priming
server IS NOT loading its configuration

could anyone of you advise me how should i solve this problem? thanks.

I see no error here. You are however running a server
with known security flaws see
http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/bind-security.html

BIND 8.2.3 rewords the status message to be less confusing.

Upgrade to the latest version of BIND. It does not print this
confusing message. BTW the message means the server is running fine.
[If you'd consulted the liost archives you'd have found this question
has been asked and answered MANY times. Sigh.] The latest version of
BIND8, 8.2.3, prints a clearer status message. It also does not have
the known security holes that are in whatever version of BIDN you're
running.
