Is there anything similar to amavisd-release, or do I just need to go in
and manually delete the files?
Also, since I'm logging to SQL is there anything I need to do to keep
the database synchronized with reality, besides clearing out the
quar_lock field in the msgs table for each deleted message?
Thanks!
Terry

A little more research indicates that omitting the delete functionality
may have something to do with German laws, so I'm going to assume that
it needs to be done manually.

Absence of quarantine deletions is not related to German law. It is just
that I considered a maintenance work on quarantine outside the scope of
amavisd.
There was a recent discussion "AM.PDP: request=delete?"
http://marc.info/?t=125629155200002&r=1&w=2
where Patrick Ben Koetter suggested that it would be useful to extend
amavisd-release to be able to delete a message, especially when it is
stored in SQL. I'm considering it, but no promises.
