Certificate Chain in Apache

Hi ,
in my apache I have 10 virtual host with 10 certificate.
Now the CA are different for 3 category of certificate.
2 CA give me a certificate chain.
I've copy the chain in the file specify in SSLCertificateChainFile both
for first and second certificate chain.
Is correct or I must have a chain file for virtualhost?
