kde session

Hi,

I have a problem with reloading my kde session.
When I reload my session, kmail and kontact are loaded together. I need to
quit kmail manually and then open kmail in kontact to get the nice
integration of kontact.
Any ideas how I can solve this small problem?

Where is the "Control Panel?" Is that the same as "System Settings?
I don't see anyplace to change setting of KDE.
