I am using Gnumeric 1.2.0 with Mandrake 9.2. When I draw a combo box
onto the spreadsheet, how do I then populate it with possible
selections? Can I populate it with a range in the spreadsheet? Do I
some how type in the possible entries. How do I do that? Can I output
a combo box item selected by the user to a spreadsheet cell.

In an unrelated question, it appears that Solver does not work. The
max and min buttons are both selected and do not respond to my mouse
clicks.

Sorry to be such a newbie.

Regards,

unfortunately combos are not fully supported yet. There is
currently no way to get data in or out.

There was a minor bug in the ui layout of the solver dialog in
1.2.0. It was fixed in 1.2.1.

The current release is 1.2.10
