Hello,

I am trying to build MySQL 5.6.28 on Windows 7 using Visual Studio
2015 (Visual C++ 14) however it fails with too many erros, is MySQL
5,.6.28 code base compatible with latest c++ compiler from Microsoft
(Visual Studio 2015)? Please let me know if there is any possible
work-around.

Regards,
SMA

VS2013 is the only version supported by MySQL 5.6.28

We are working to adapt the source to VS2015, and in coming maintenance
version of 5.6 (and other supported main MySQL versions), you will be
able to compile MySQL using VS2015.
