You could use this test as starting point for further development.
Currently the bean does not work on Linux/Solaris when using gnome.
There is work around on http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoBean.

Thanks for the reply. I just want to view the OpenOffice documents in
browser through applet. For that I have tried what

success. Please help.

Joachim already did that: he told you about a test component and how to
get the source code for it. Try it out. If you have questions about
accessing the source code of a Child Workspace please send them to the
mailing list d...@openoffice.org.
