Has someone ever tried to view OOoBean in a browser ( IE or Mozilla Firefox )
through an applet. I am trying to do it, but still there is no success. My
applet runs fine in appletviewer and it shows the OpenOffice documents but
when I try to run the same applet in browser, the applet is started without
errors but still does not show anything. Can someone please tell me is it
possible to do so? If yes, then how? Please reply.

Thanks

Joseph Bashir

There is a test in the bean project on a child workspace. The name is
jl43. You would have to use cvs to check out this branch or maybe the
"CVS viewer" on www.openoffice.org allows to see this branch.

You could use this test as starting point for further development.

Currently the bean does not work on Linux/Solaris when using gnome.
There is work around on http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoBean.

Joachim already did that: he told you about a test component and how to
get the source code for it. Try it out. If you have questions about
accessing the source code of a Child Workspace please send them to the
mailing list d...@openoffice.org.

Ciao,
Mathias

Please don't reply to "nospam...@gmx.de".
I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
