Maildroid new User - Turning notifications off

Switching from recently freezing and slow K-9, and am trying out
Maildroid which seems to be a pretty solid option for POP3.
I get a lot of email and can not figure out how to get my
notifications sound to stop . Under global preferences there are
notification settings, which are "Show Separate Notifications" and the
other is "Notify Once". I have both of them clicked off. Is there
some other setting somewhere I'm not finding?

Take a look at preferences, rules, notification. This should do what you want.
