Yahoo changed some back-end settings on what mail server people can
access. If you have a free yahoo account, please be sure to modify the
settings to:

1. Email/Password
2. Manual
3. IMAP
4.
Incoming:
android.imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 993
Secure connection box should be checked

Outgoing:
android.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 465
Secure connection box should be checked

My free Yahoo accounts still seem to be ok with the previous settings.
I'm curious as to where these new values were found.

Mine still worked but receiving was delayed for the last couple of
days. With the new settings works better. Thanks.

Hello, there,
These outgoing settings do not work on my YahooMail (paid for, plus
account)
The only thing that works is if I Uncheck secure and use port 25...

I had this issue a week or so ago - the only way I could get the new
settings to work was to delete my account completely and add it back
in with the new settings.

I now use the following for smtp, smtp.mail.yahoo.com
