Having problem trying to save an attached picture to my phone so I can
view it later in the Gallery.

In MailDroid Pro I have tried "Save" and the "Save As" feature. I can
go into the "Save As" and look in the Download folder after saving it
and see the file is there. However, when I then go to Gallery and
open the App the picture will not show up. Only after I power off or
Restart the phone and back on and then open up Gallery will it see the
picture.

I tested the save picture to Gallery option using the default GMail
app and it works fine, it will save an attached photo to Gallery and
can then go into Gallery and view the pictures without having to
reboot the device. Also in the menu options, it only has "Save" or
"Save to SD card" or the "Save As" options. There is no option to
"Save To Gallery" like the GMail app has. I do not have an SD card
installed at this time either. Should not have to use a SD card to
save photos. I have over 11 gig memory free and this one photo is
only 2 megs. Memory not an issue here.

Need to get this feature working properly in MailDroid Pro.

Thanks

that's because android doesn't update gallery instantly. get something called sdrescan, a simple app that will do the job each time you use it.
