Hi,

Good job for your application. I enjoy the thread functionality, I can
delete a whole thread that doesn't interest me.But I have a problem.

I configured mail droid with my adsl provider (free.fr) smtp server.
It works well when I'm connected via wifi from my home.

But when I want to connect from 3G+ network this doesn't work. I
think I should use my phone network provider (orange.fr)

I searched but I didn't find how to modify settings of my account to
change stmp configuration. Could you please give me the complete key
sequence (on my desire hd) ot change the smtp server associated to my
account ?

Is there a functionnality that would make the application use
different smtp servers depending on the network used (3G+ or WiFi)? I
looked at rules but I didn't understand, I created one rule and I
can't manage to delete it.

Sending transparently mails from wifi or 3G+ would be very great.

I searched the group for 'change port' and found this post from
November from 'mediate':

From your Inbox, go to Menu->Accounts, then LONG PRESS the account
whose port you want to change. You'll then see a pop-up menu that
includes the choice you want, "Edit Settings". Scroll down to the
"Outgoing SMTP server" to find the Port field that you want to
change.
After making the change, you'll probably want to scroll to the very
bottom of the Setup screen and press the Next button.

Hi,
There is no functionality to automatically select a smtp server to be used depending on the network.
But you can manually select different ways of sending e-mails (different accounts or SMTP servers).
Go to Settings, Additional addresses or Identities. You can setup additional SMTP servers there.
When writing an email, just select the identity from the drop down list on the top.

To delete a rule, long tap on it and select Delete.
