Gmail 2 step verification and authorization with Maildroid

Do this.

1). Follow this link to create an Application Specific Password (ASP)       https://support.google.com/mail/answer/1173270?hl=en

2). In Maildroid either Add Account or Edit settings on an existing Gmail account (whichever is required)

3). When it comes to the Gmail password section, enter the unique Google ASP password and NOT your normal Gmail password.

4). Job done.

I struggled with this at first, now it seems so obvious!
