Hi,
The problem is that emails sent from maildroid are not in the local Sent folder. How to force maildroid to put the sent email in the Sent folder ? In the preferences I have "Save sent mail: on server" and selected a folder "Sent". Emails sent from maildroid
are in the folder called "Sent items upload queue".
Email account has Outgoing Smtp serwer, port 587.

Hi,
Long tap on Sent folder, set it to Offline. Then your local copy of the Sent folder will be synced with the server.

Subject: Missing sent email in the "Sent" folder
Hi,
any idea why emails sent from Mail Droid are visible in the folder "Sent from device" instead of "Sent" ?
This is IMAP email account.
In the Account Preferences in the option Copy Sent Mail I have following setup: Save sent mail: - on Phone (on); - on Server (on) and folder selected "Sent".
Rgs, T.
Hi,
Incoming IMAP is fine. Maildroid should upload the emails using this server.
Are you able to see the contents of the server’s Sent folder in Maildroid?
Is it named exactly the same way you specified in the settings for upload of sent mail? Please, pay attention to special characters like brackets [], etc.

Hi,
When I setup the email account manually in Mail Droid there is possibility to put "Incoming IMAP server" with Port 993, but for Sent there is only "Outgoing SMTP server" where I put IMAP server with Port 465.
There is no "Outgoing IMAP server" option in Mail Droid email account setup.
For me it looks like Mail Droid is not able to copy sent emails to the server, despite the fact that it is switch on in options.

Hi,
Try contacting the developer. He is reading the forum, too, but a direct contact should be faster.
You can send a log file of the error to the developer. Go to the accounts screen --> menu --> Logging. Click Menu --> Play.
Then write a message and send it.
Go to the Sent folder and let the application run for a while.
Eventually, go back to the logging screen and click menu --> pause and finally menu --> send. This will send a log file of errors to the developer.

Hi,
when I send emails from diffrent EMail programs (Windows Live, Thunderbird) and they are stored in the Sent folder on the email server, MailDroid is properly downloding them to Sent folder.
It means that download from Sent folder on the serwer to MailDroid Sent folder is working very well.
But what is not working is the upload to the email server of items which are sent from MailDroid - they keep hanging in the folder "Sent from device", depsite the fact that it is marked in the Preferences and folder is properly selected.
It is true that folder names on the server are in Polish language and folder names in MailDroid (or other email programs) in Eng. but it should not be an issue as download is working fine (only upload of sent items is not working).
Did someone else report similar problems or I am the only one...?
