Hi all,
First of all, I`m new with the mailchimp & mailchimp API. However, I was able to create&schedule/send a campaign using mailchimp API (v1.3) but I don`t know how to configure/create/customize the unsubscribe link URL (from the footer area) unique per a campaign&subscriber info. E.g. http://mywebsite.com/unsubscribe/?email=<email_addr>&param1=<param1_values>&param2=<param2_value>.
Is this possible because I didnt` find any info regarding this.

Hey Scott --

Using an outside unsubscribe URL is against our terms of use.  To include an unsubscribe link within your campaign, you'll just need to use the *|UNSUB|* merge tag within the content of your campaign.  Our support team can help if you run into issues with that, as well.

Interesting does this mean we cant make unsubscribe forms over api on our website???
ps the terms of use (link) that you have posted doesnt redirect you to term of use
it redirects to about-no-outside-unsubscribe-suspension
http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/about-no-outside-unsubscribe-suspension
and there is no info on WHY cant we use it.

Dejan,

We require our own unsubscribe link so we can accurately keep tabs on when someone actually unsubscribes from a list.  You're more than welcome to add an unsubscribe form on your website, but inside of a campaign, the *|UNSUB|* link must be used.
