When I created a new campaign, and sent it to a list (my email is also
in this list). After that, I logined to my email, open the email which
I received from the campaign.
After that, I logined to mailchimp. At the report module, Total Times
Opened ,Recipients Who Opened,Recipients Who Clicked is always 0
As I read on mailchimp, those function was free. But in my report,
they're always 0

Can you give me more information about this
Thanks a lot

There are 2 ways we can know someone has opened an email:
1) They have HTML email enabled and they display the images - this
allows our tracking link to work correctly
2) They click on a link in a campaign - if we haven't seen them open
the campaign before, we'll also track that as an open

There will definitely be cases where an email will be opened and it's
impossible to track it.

I just thought I'd chime in that this is a REALLY common question for ALL mail systems, not just MailChimp, and they all have the same limitations.  You can't actually know when a user opens an E-Mail, but by creating unique image and link URLs, you can tell if an image is displayed or if a link is clicked.  At first that's really frustrating (mostly because the metric is called "opens" but that's not really what it is), but after a while you get used to it.  It's an unfortunate reality in the E-Mail marketing world.

Hi, jesse
I also turned on to show images in my email.
But Total Times Opened ,Recipients Who Opened didn't work
It just worked when I clicked on any link on email, as you said.
Or it didn't work

Opens are not always processed in real time, be patient. And of course
once you click something, you'll create the unique open. Believe me,
the tracking stuff is working just fine.
