Hello,

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question, if not perhaps someone can point me in another direction? I'm looking for some consulting help with something I'm trying to do in mailchimp, but have not been able to figure out how to do?

My Goal:
I am using Wufoo to collect registrations for individual workshops (pick one from a drop down menu), many workshop are offered across the year, and people can sign up for one workshop, and then a month later they might signup for two more, and then a month later they may sign up for another one.

In Wufoo, each registration is a record, and each person is sent a "Thank you for registering email" from Wufoo immediately upon, registering for the workshop and at the same time a subset of the workshop registration info (fname, lname, birthday, workshop title, and  a trigger date (hidden fields on Wufoo form) for each workshop) is being sent to Mailchimp, using the workshop field to segmentize the Mailchimp list into groups.

I was thinking I'd use he trigger date for each workshop as a means to trigger a Mailchimp Auto responder to send out confirmation emails 10 days before each workshop. I know I could use a campaign and schedule it, but the reason I want an "turn on" an auto responder is to deal with all those who have registered weeks/months in advance, but also to send confirmation emails to those people who register AFTER the 10 day countdown to the workshop begins - people can register right up until the day of the workshop, and I want them to get a confirmation email.

I have not been able to figure out how to make this happen - the only work around I can come up with right now is to make 11 campaigns for each workshop and then schedule each one of them for successive days counting down to the actual date of the workshop, and then use something like "Last Changed" as one of the conditions along with segmentized Workshop group for the campaign.

Any helpful insight into Mailchimp's internal capacity, or offers of a paid solution we could co-market/develop and implement through itduzzit or some other avenue would be welcome too, as I am sure there are others who require this capacity.

Thanks,

MarRos

No, this is not a proper forum. Autoresponder functionality is thoroughly documented in the knowledgebase:

If you need to hire someone for further help, we maintain a directory of folks familiar with our service here:
