Hi

We have an Access database and were looking at giving it a SQL back-end. Before we do this I just wanted to know a few things first.

1) Can we integrate an Access database to use MailChimp? - We have a list of clients (some clients get added, some get take off) is there a way this list of clients gets automatically uploaded to MailChimp which then sends out our newsletter?

2) If this cant be done in Access can we do this in SQL?

3) Lastly if it can be done it SQL what versions of SQL do we need can we do this in SQL Express or do we need to have SQL Standard??

Thank you in advance, I look forward to the responses :)

Access/SQL/etc doesn't matter - what matters is finding a developer who can work with your platform of choice and then pointing them to our API docs, particularly write-ups #3 and #4 here:

http://apidocs.mailchimp.com/api/how-to/

Then the answer to syncing things is Yes.

Thanks for the reply Jesse, I shall have a read up on #3 and #4

I'm very new to MailChimp, where would I find a developer that would help us? Do you mean personally find one or find one on these forums that could help?

Regards

Definitely not here. We have this:

http://experts.mailchimp.com/

Otherwise you'll need to find one yourself.
