Unsubscribe issue with specific email format(xx@x.xxx.edu, xx@x.xxxxxxx.edu)

Dear API team,

We are successfully using mailChimp API to subscribe/Unsubscribe users from mailing list. When we subscribe users from organisation with email format  x...@x.xxx.edu, x...@x.xxxxxxx.edu it works.
But when we try to Unsubscribe any user with email address x...@x.xxxxxxx.edu, x...@x.xxx.edu mailchimp generates an error message 'not able to unsubscribe' message.(email address is not properly formed)

Could you please check and advice.

That's an error is your code somewhere - if we're actually returning that, you're passing the email address incorrectly.

When i subscribe x...@x.xxx.edu, x...@x.xxxxxxx.edu . It WORKS
When i Unsubscribe x...@x.xxx.edu, x...@x.xxxxxxx.edu . It FAILS

If the email format is wrong it must generate the same error message while calling Subscribe and Unsubscribe.
But its generating error only for Unsubscribe(listBatchUnsubscribe).

That's simply not true. There's something wrong in the code - passing values incorrectly, not processing returned values/errors correctly/consistently, or the like.
