importing list of contact from excel to mailchimp

Good morning!

im working in a commercial company and i prepared a list of contacts mails according to different sector in order to send for them our last news. I'm a new user of mailchimp, some one told me that i can send this list of contacts witout the need to write the mail of every contact, by imporiting the excel file to my mailchimp account is that right? can anyone help me with this issue??
