API Key

Hi, I'm a new member and am having trouble getting my API key. I go to my
account and it says I don't have any active API keys, and doesn't give me
the option of getting one. I am developing my site through wordpress and
have activated the plugin. I've gone through the documentation but can't
figure out where best to start. Help!

Hi

You get your API key by login on mailchimp.

On Top-Left corner there is option
Account --> extras--> API Key & info

You can add ACTIVE API key by pressing "add a key" button mailchimp generate API Key for you.

Hi, thanks for your email. The add a key button wasn't there before, but
it is now, so I had no problem. Maybe I just needed to refresh my browser
after signing up.

After I filled in the API I was designing the widget and mistakenly closed
the browser. Now I can't get back there to finish. How do I get back to
the page to finish completing the design page for the widget? (I see where
I go for the forms design but not for the widget)

Not quite sure what you're actually doing, but none of that sounds
like actual API related development. If you're developing something
new for wordpress, it would be best to post questions about that to
their plugin developers forums.

If you are just setting up a plugin you installed, you should post any
questions to the support forum for that plugin.
