Integrations test connection

Hi,
With both the SurveyMonkey and SurveyGizmo integrations after a user
authorizes the connection within MailChimp they will see a 'Test
Connection' button which displays a list of theirs surveys in either
SurveyMonkey or SurveyGizmo

We are using OAuth and have that working fine. This 'Test connection'
button obviously makes some kind of API request to SurveyMonkey and
SurveyGIzmo respectively. We want to provide the same functionality,
where do we configure how MailChimp will make this API call to us?
I've searched you help pages and the forum but couldn't find anything,
if I missed it please point me in the right direction.

You're looking at things backwards. The point of OAuth was for you to integrate with us (just as we integrated with those services' apis). So in your system you would make a (very light) api call to make sure things are working, such as to ping() or maybe to grab the first 5 or 10 lists/campaigns/whatever.

I understand what you are saying and yes everything validates from our
side fine.

However the 'Test Connection' button in MailChimp must be making some
kind of call to SurveyMonkey to get the list of surveys for the user.
How does it do this, and where do we configure this call so that we
can do the same with our system?

I mean, yeah, we make an API call to them. You can put that sort of test anywhere you want in your system.

The 'Test Connection' button is in your system. When we are ready to
publish our integration, the 'Test Connection' button will call our
system. What does this call look like so that we can develop whatever
we need, to return the list of surveys from our system that will be
displayed within MailChimp, and do we need to configure anything for
this within MailChimp.
