Hi,

According to http://www.mailchimp.com/blog/adding-file-attachments-to-mailchimp-email-campaigns/, the interface allows users to upload attachments to a CDN for inclusion or attachment to an email campaign.  How can I perform those steps with the API?

Thanks

Just to be clear, we don't support attachments in the emails we send.
What that post says is that we'll host files for you and let you link
to it in your content. You'd do that using campaignCreate and the
archive content type option.

Hi Jesse,

It seems that you can only host the following files sent up in the
archive:

"Only jpegs, gifs, pngs and a .html file (a ".htm" will not work)."
(from
http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/s-31286565/cmd/kbresource/kb-76363317244554551/view_question!PAGETYPE?sq=import%2bzip%2barchive&sf=101113&sg=2&st=598996&documentid=361925&action=view)

Is this correct?

It would be so good if you could host other files like word docs and
pdfs. Is it possible through the API somehow?

Currently, yes, but we are looking at adding that ability (it will
then be available via archive import in the app and API).

Hi jesse,

I just tested uploading a pdf in a zip file via the API and it works
fine.

Good news.

Thanks very much.
