API integration with Microsoft Access?

Hi there. Does the MailChimp API allow for Microsoft Access integration? Specifically, our customer database, which includes contact email information including address, status (unsubscribe, subscribe, bounced, etc) is Access-based. We are contantly updating it but have no set process in place to ensure MailChimp is updated accordingly. Possible to write programming that would integrate the two? Thank you,
