hi all
i actually downloaded this extension for two separate emails - one that i use as a tutor, and one (that i'm having issues with) that i use as a case manager/counselor

first - generally this extension is awesome. it's worked excellently for my tutoring email (which is a personal email as far as gmail is concerned)

for the counselor account that i have associated with an organization (.org part of g-suits), it won't let me send recurring messages. it says "specify at least one recipient" when there's definitely a recipient in there. i've tried several things (uninstalling it and reinstalling it, turning it off/on, quitting/restarting chrome, adding the recipient to my contacts list, making sure i have one composition open at a time, opening the draft in "full screen").

i also tried scheduling recurring messages to the same email addresses from my tutoring account, and they scheduled no problem. because of that, i think it must be something to do with gsuits but i'm not positive. help?

Have you tried using a different computer or asking your network administrator if they allow third party software?

Hi Julianna,

Thanks for this information! It sounds like there is a problem with the extension working under a G Suite account. To be honest, I've only tested it with my free accounts. I'll need to see if I can temporarily sign up for a G Suite account in order to troubleshoot the issue. I'll let you know when the issue is resolved.

good question about the network administrator approving 3rd party apps - i have not asked.
i did just try to do the "send later" option though (not the recurring one) and that one worked fine. :/

thanks dustin for looking into it to see if you can troubleshoot :)

Hey Julianna,

I was able to sign up for a G Suite account and it turns out that the Gmail site for these accounts is slightly different than the free accounts. I was able to update the Chrome extension so it should now work for G Suite the same as it does for personal accounts. Would you mind giving that a try and letting me know how it goes? The fix is in extension version 1.2.6 so you'll need this version before it'll work. Chrome should update to this version automatically but I'm not sure how long that takes. So, you can either check the version in Chrome by going to "Settings -> Extensions" or you can just uninstall and re-install the extension to make sure you have the latest version.
