Hi,

we have moved a MailArchiva installation (11 mailboxes) to a new VM (MailArchiva 5.1.2) because the old installation (MailArchiva 4.x) would regularly stop archiving and the application had to be restarted. Now it's running as expected but the (free) license is not valid anymore and almost all features have been disabled.

The About page shows the following license status:
MailArchiva On-Premise license is invalid
General error occurred during license check.

The license_count.txt file has the following contents:
License Check Mailbox Sample 5/4/17 1:49 PM
MailArchiva 5.1.2

Note: Not all installed mailboxes may be present above.
Use the mailbox count in your mail server as a guide.

How can we re-enable the free license?

Thanks in advance!

I believe this issue may be an installer problem. When upgrading, the MailArchiva installer was copying the V4 license.lic from the classes folder and replacing the V5 license. Hence,  license check became invalid due to signature mismatch. The issue should be corrected by downloading the full install for 4.1.3 or higher and rerunning the setup.
