WinVN Problem Help

I hope one of you can help me with a problem. Recently WinVN began acting up
when I access certain news groups. The problem happens when certain groups
are being retrieved. While some groups can be retrieved, some can not
without the following Invalid page fault being displayed:
WINVN caused an invalid page fault in
module WINVN.EXE at 015f:0041b077.

I am an advanced computer user but by no means a programmer. I am not able
to determine if the problem originates in the WinVN.exe module or Windows. I
tried formatting my computer and putting a fresh load on it but the problem
is still there. I am running Win98 Rel 2 with the latest release of WinVN. I
have downloaded a fresh copy of WinVN but no success. Any suggestions you
might have would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info please
