Could WinVn use Proxy Server??

WinVN could use a news proxy such as nntpcache. Most likely, however, your site
has a proxy that only supports HTTP access (ie, your client would have to be
a web browser). This would only be a problem if you wanted to use WinVN _and_
your site blocked access to port 119, which is what WinVN uses.

Of course you don't need to use a proxy anyway

That is the address to enter as the SMTP server (Config/Communications)

Presumably that is the NNTP (News) Server

He could also try reading the help file.
