Unable to Open Program

Just recently I have had trouble opening Winvn. I uninstalled the system and
downloaded and re-installed the current file wv16i999.zip .
When I open it the "communication Options" screen comes on. No matter what,
I can't seem to close it by clicking okay. I feel like the options screen
wants me to "tick something" but heaven knows what. Eventually I'm told the
following message..

Any ideas where I go from here. I have used the program for years majorally
wth no difficulties
