1. a (somewhat) contemporary novel to be read by the 10th graders (not AP
students)
2. a novel to be read by the 11th graders (also not AP students)
Books that have been read in the past few years include "Joy Luck Club" ,
"A Yellow Raft in Blue Water", "Catch-22" Memoirs are also okay (This year,
they're reading "The Color of Water")
They have complained about the difficulty of finding a book which will be
as interesting to boys as it will to girls, and vice-versa.
Do you have any suggestions?
