pointers on why this email won't parse properly

Mail does not find the photo included in this email (a picture of a
sofa). Before I go wondering down too many dead-end paths, can anyone
give me pointers on why it won't work and what I might do do get it to
find the attachment? All attachments from this user have the same
problem...

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
