Warm greetings from Bangkok!
Since the deadline for fellowship application is drawing near (due 15 October 2019), I would like to resend this call again for your attention and further circulation to your networks. FYI, we have received few applications in the system already, however we definitely still looking for good applications from Mekong’s young researchers and practitioners. Kindly noted that we are especially looking for at least 2 qualified fellows for the next 6-12 months, if possible we would like to have one fellow focusing on research communications, while the other fellow focuses on one of the other areas, such as research, policy engagement and project management.

I’m pleased to forward to you the “SUMERNET Call for Fellowships” which opens opportunity for young and early-career Mekong Region citizens with researcher and/or practitioner backgrounds to apply for a 6-12-month fellowship at the SUMERNET Secretariat in Bangkok, Thailand (starting from January 2020). Young people (not older than 35 years) from the countries of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam are eligible to apply to this fellowship. We expect to host up to two SUMERNET fellows in this first round. I’d like to encourage you to refer to the attached call document for further details.
We receive only online applications through https://sei.submittable.com/submit/148242/sumernet-call-for-fellowships which will be open for submission until deadline on cob. 15 October 2019. For those interested, kindly prepare necessary documents before going for online submission (please refer the call document), or otherwise please feel free to also disseminate this call within your network.
