Ramadhaan 1439AH Announcement

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
As-salāmu 'alaikum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

The 1st day of the month of رَمَضَان Ramadhaan 1439AH will be on الخميس (al-Khamīs) corresponding to Thursday 17 May 2018

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "When you see the crescent (of the month of Ramadan), start fasting, and when you see the crescent (of the month of Shawwal), stop fasting; and if the sky is overcast (and you can't see it) then regard the month of Ramadan as of 30 days."
Recorded in Saheeh Bukhari and also recorded by others through a number of Noble Companions.


Taraweeh Prayers will begin after Isha Prayers corresponding to Wednesday 16 May 2018.

Eid Al-Fitr 1439AH Announcement

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
As-salāmu 'alaikum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

The new moon has been sighted in various countries across the world.

The 1st day of the month of شَوَّال  Shawaal 1439AH will be on الجمعة (al-Jummah) corresponding to Friday 15 June 2018
