بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Welcome to Maidenhead Dawah which was founded to provide guidance on the Qur'aan and authentic Sunnah as practised by Prophet Muhammad ([صلى الله عليه وسلم] sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam), his noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and with the early generations of Islam and the teachings from the major scholars of Islam.

Allaah ( سبحانه و تعالى , Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) said in the Qur'aan:
"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islâm as your religion."
The Qur'aan,  سورة المائدة - Soorah al-Maa'idah 005, Verse 003.
Translation - "Interpretation of the Meaning of The Noble Qur'aan in the English Language" By Dr. Muhammad Taqiuddeen al-Hilaalee, Ph.D. and Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan, Published By Darussalam.

Allah's Messenger ([صلى الله عليه وسلم] sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) said, "I have left you upon clear proof, its night is like its day, no one deviates from it except one who is destroyed, and whoever lives (long) from amongst you will see great controversy. So stick to what you know from my Sunnah (example) and the Sunnah of the orthodox, rightly-guided caliphs - cling to that with your molar teeth, and stick to obedience even if it is to an Abyssinian slave, since the believer is like the submissive camel, wherever he is led, he follows."
[Recorded by Ahmed and it is Hasan]

Abdullah ibn Mas'ood  [ رضى الله تعالى عنه , radiyallahu 'anhu, , Allâh be pleased with him, died 32AH] said: "Beware of the (religious) innovations which the people invent, since the Deen (Religion) does not pass out of the hearts all at once - rather Shaytaan introduces innovations for him until he expels Eemaan from the heart; and it will soon happen that the people will abandon the obligatory duties which Allah has made binding upon them - the Prayer, the Fast, the lawful and the prohibited, and speak about their Lord - the Mighty and Majestic. So who ever reaches that time then let him flee." It was said: O Abu Abdur-Rahman, to where? He said: "Not to anywhere, he should flee with his heart and his Deen and not sit with anyone of the people of innovation."
[al-Lalikaa'ee]

Abu Hanîfah [ رحمه الله , rahimahullâh, died150H] said: “Stick to the narrations and the way of the Salaf (Predecessors) and beware of newly invented matters, for all of it is innovation.”
[as-Suyûtî]

Imaam Maalik Ibn Anas [ رحمه الله , rahimahullâh, died 179AH] – may Allaah have Mercy on him – said, “Whosoever introduces into Islaam an innovation, and holds it to be something good, has indeed alleged that Muhammad ([صلى الله عليه وسلم] sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) has betrayed his message. Read the saying of Allaah – the Most Blessed, the Most High,

"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islaam as your religion."
[The Qur'aan] [Sooratul-Maa'idah 5:3]

So that which was not part of the Religion at that time, cannot be part of the Religion today. And the last part of this Ummah cannot be rectified, except by that which rectified its first part."

Ahmed ibn Hanbal [ رحمه الله , rahimahullâh, died 241AH] - rahimahullâh - said: "The Fundamental Principles of the Sunnah with us are: Holding fast to what the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) were upon. And taking them (and their way) as a model to be followed. And the abandonment of (religious) innovations, and every innovation is misguidance."
