I’ve never done play-by-post, but I’ve never massively adhered to the ‘realtime’ guidelines - someone starts stress breaking, and they stop when it’s dramatically appropriate, funny or otherwise relevant. I tend to play _very_ non-serious games, where it’s silly enough no-one is going to get upset about it. I guess you could turn it into ‘actions’ or something, so a character that stresses out for 5 minutes has to follow the stress explosion for their next 5 actions or something?
