During a campus emergency, Flash ALERTS will send you a message delivering critical information. Flash ALERTS are an enhancement to the several existing communications tools used by the university to reach students, faculty and staff, including the Kent State home page, alert monitor system, broadcast email alerts, broadcast voicemail messages and notifications to public media outlets.
All members of the university community are added to our Flash ALERTS system. No action is needed. If no action is taken, each university community member will receive critical texts that are distributed for each campus.
I recommend to temporarily turn off LED Flash for Alerts in Settings > Accessibility, then select Audio/Visual. Then, restart your iPhone and turn the feature back on. From there, please test and see if the LED flash is working without any issues. If needed, here's an article with the steps to access LED flash alerts: Adjust audio and visual settings on iPhone
Thank you for responding. After doing a reset and not resolving my LED issue, My Sister in law noticed her battery was was at 20% and Charged it over night. Surprisingly, the next morning she received a call and not only did her iPhone ring, but the LED light flashed. I would also like to thank you for providing the link to the Apple reference Document:Adjust and visual settings on iPhone
In fact, I have an iPhone6s and my flash has stopped working also. I do not know if the LEDflash works in conjunction with a ringtone, but my 6s WOULD be in my pocket and an incoming call audibly ring , vibrate and visually flash and incoming text Messages would alert me with a text alert tone and an LED visual flashes.

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 8:16 p.m., Linn County Deputies were dispatched to 29380 Speasl Rd, near Lebanon, in response to a reported domestic dispute- which involved a firearm. While on their way to the residence, a firearm was reportedly discharged at the residence. Deputies arrived and located the reported suspect, Gino Anthony Marcoccia (49) of Lebanon, outside the residence. Marcoccia was armed with a rifle and advanced aggressively towards one of the responding deputies. Marcoccia did not comply with any commands given by the deputies to drop his rifle. Marcoccia with the gun in hand, advanced directly towards one of the deputies, closing the distance with him. That deputy discharged his firearm and Marcoccia fell to the ground and dropped the rifle.

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt today announced that a Multnomah County jury delivered a guilty verdict for Jared Weston Walter, 37, for multiple incidents last year where Walter filmed women using the restroom.
The trial took place in front of Judge Andrew Lavin from May 28-30, with Deputy District Attorney Julian Samuels as the prosecutor. The 12-person jury delivered the verdict on May 30 after less than 30 minutes of deliberation, finding Walter guilty of 30 counts of Invasion of Personal Privacy in the First Degree and one count of Attempted Invasion of Personal Privacy in the First Degree. In addition, one count of Invasion of Personal Privacy in the First Degree was dismissed, and the two theft charges from the indictment will be addressed separately from this case.
Sentencing will be scheduled at a later date in front of Judge Lavin. At sentencing, MCDA will seek the possibility of multiple upward departures, which could enhance the possible sentence for Mr. Walter.
Packing the Ten Essentials whenever you step into the wilderness, even on day hikes, is good practice. On a routine trip, you may not use any items, but when something goes awry, having the Ten Essentials could be essential to your survival.
The Oregon State Marine Board will be mailing reminder notices to boaters whose motorboat registrations are expired and electronically to boat owners with emails on file. Each renewal notice is unique to the owner and their boat and are encouraged to take advantage of the online renewal option. As in years past, the agency is partnering with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation where a random sampling of boaters with lapsed registrations will receive a reminder notice mailed directly from RBFF.
Any watercraft with a motor or sailboats 12 feet or longer are required to title and register with the Marine Board. Motorboat registration fees are $5 plus $5.95 per foot and are issued on a 2-year calendar basis.
Revenue from motorboat registrations goes back to boaters. The Marine Board is directly funded by boaters in the form of registration, title, and permit fees, as well as marine fuel taxes. No lottery, general fund tax dollars or local facility parking fees support the agency or its programs. Revenue goes back to boaters in the form of grants for boating facility access, grants for on-water opportunities for paddlers, contracts for marine law enforcement services, safety education, and environmental stewardship.

Jemtegaard Middle School (JMS) students created a mural this spring to represent school pride at the middle school. The mural is now on display inside of the school building near the gymnasium and features a design by Aubrey Gale, 7th grade student at JMS.
Student leadership worked with school Principal David Cooke and Associate Principal Tiffany McCormick to form a mural committee with representatives from each grade level. Students worked with Cooke and McCormick to hold a schoolwide mural design contest, seeking designs to represent Husky Pride. From a pool of eight entries, the committee selected a design by JMS student Aubrey Gale. Gale was awarded with a collection of art supplies for submitting the winning entry.
