hmm, well typically you're not going to get much more than 3 or 4 yaku
on a given hand, so really it just comes down to how much you're able
to make use of bonus tiles. (red tiles, doras, ura-doras) Going
concealed is basically a must - open baimans are basically limited to
full flushes with the red and 2+ doras, or all pungs + half flush/
triple pung with a dora pung and dragon/wind pung included. Concealed
offers your everyday riichi-all simples-pinfu plus 1-3 reds/doras,
with chances at ippatsu, self draw and ura dora to get you up to
baiman level. It's going to take some luck regardless, so really the
best way to go about getting a baiman is to try and make sure you
never have to :P
