MMLA Sankrant 2015
As new year starts, the MMLA Committee is working on several things including committee members transition and planning for next year events. We are looking forward to an exciting new year 2015 and organizing many events for our community.
Our first event of new year 2015 will be Makar Sankrant. We are eagerly waiting for this event as this will kickstart our Programmes for 2015.

As you know, kids from our community demonstrate their talent and participate in different performances during this event. The Rules / Guidelines for these performances is published on the MMLA website (www.mmla.org).

Program Schedule:
--Registration Starts: 1:45 p.m.
--Kite Flying: 2:00 p.m. - 2:25 p.m.
--Welcome and Tilgul Distribution + Haldi Kunku: 2:00 p.m - 2:25 p.m.
--Entertainment Program Starts (w/ Samooha Geet): 2:25 p.m
--Tea Break: 4:30 p.m.
--Entertainment Program Continue: 4:45 p.m.
--Dinner: 6:45 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
Riverside Virangula
Riverside Virangula started in September 2013 under the name 'Inland Empire Seniors'
Group' and meet on 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at every month conducting
various activities. Those interested, seniors from Corona, Riverside area can join the group.

Candle March’, a Marathi feature film is based on true events of physically abused women victims. The story revolves around four women protagonists, which reveal the chain of events and connect all four of them to fight against the system and injustice. The story is majorly inspired from the known incidences of scandals against women in India.
