Namo Buddhaya!
It is the Poson season. Poson festival is of great historical and religious significance to Buddhist devotees as it marks the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka by Arahath MihinduThero.
While the Buddhists in Sri Lanka celebrate this by setting up dansal, pandols, and offer dana to Sangha and chant "Prshasthi Gee" we will celebrate it by observing sil, listen to Dhamma Talks and offer dana in many other forms.
As the second Dhamma program for this Poson month a valuable Dhamma talk has been organised by Mahamevnawa Aspuwa in Thomastown as below.
Be there and find the path to Nirvana, the perfect peace of the state of mind that is free from craving, anger, and other defilements. Listen to pure dhamma and be awake to the true nature of reality!'
