Hey guys, sorry to be such a late latif, but was catching up with my
old college gang who've all become
(semi-) respectable corporate types in Bangalore.

But now, I'm being bombarded with emails from several friends, who've
been intensely following our little
debate, but have been too shy to write. :-)

They're all asking me if there's any way they can see our posts and
comments, like on the blogs.

Or should I just ask them to join the group with non-admin
permissions ?

Anindya,

Welcome! I've made you an admin.

The group and all discussions are public, so anyone can see all
comments just by going to the URL http://groups.google.com/group/mahabharata-discussion/
. Your friends can join the group and post without any special
permission. They are very welcome to join, they shouldn't be shy!
They are also welcome to "lurk" and follow the discussions, but if
they join up they can also also post their opinions or questions and
enrich the group. I think we can start off with 4 admins but maybe
more later.

Hey:
Tell them to jump in, why so shy ? Even if they just got their MB from
amar-chitra-kathas or something, its still a start. They can read the
other links that are being posted here at their leisure.

And I think people posting what "they think" is in the MB is also
pretty interesting in its own way. After all --there have been like 60
versions over the centuries, with all sorts of twists and local
folklore-ish stuff thrown in!
