What are the Basic steps of installing Magma Driver in Laptop running
Windows XP?


Answer:

For Magma driver installation follow these steps:


1.Disconnect the Magma Expansion Chassis and cardbus card from
laptop.
2. Remove any 3rd party PCI card in the chassis
3. Remove the previous Magma driver you've installed. Go to Add/
Remove programs and remove it.
4. Disable active Anti-virus in your Laptop

After you've have done the 4 things above, you may now download the
driver from this link:

http://www.magma.com/download/NewMagmaExpansionDriver/magma.zip

Save and unzip the file


Install Magma Driver


1- Run setup.exe


2- Shutdown computer


3- Connect Magma Expansion Chassis (do not install the 3rd Party PCI
Card yet)


4- Power on Chassis and then laptop


5- Log-in to Windows

6- Windows will detect hardware (this is the cardbus card)
Welcome to the Found new Hardware Wizard


7- Can Windows Connect to Windows Update.....?
...Select No, not at this time


8- Click Next


9- Select Install the software automatically, click next


10- After completing the install, shutdown and reboot laptop


11- Windows will detect another new hardware (this is expansion
chassis)
Welcome to the Found new Hardware Wizard


12- Repeat steps 7 to 9
